Who operates Mart
Mart is operated by COLDWIRES LLC. This policy covers mart.dev, the Mart account app, and the Mart API. It explains our handling of customer information and professional information processed through our service. For privacy questions or requests, email support@mart.dev.
Information we handle
- Account information: your name, email address, password hash, verification history, and account preferences.
- Service activity: submitted URLs and search parameters, endpoint, time, status, response time, API-key identifier, and credit usage.
- Billing records: purchased plans, payment status, invoices, refunds, subscription details, and payment-processor identifiers. Stripe collects payment details; Mart does not store full card numbers.
- Support correspondence: the messages you send us and the information needed to investigate your request.
- Security information: session identifiers and request information used to rate-limit requests, detect misuse, and protect accounts.
Public professional data
Mart processes public professional information requested by customers. Depending on the endpoint and availability, this can include names, job titles, employers, education, skills, professional locations, posts, and work contact information. Some enrichment fields may be inferred or verified separately and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Publicly accessible information can still be personal data. Its availability does not remove anyone’s privacy rights.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, return requested records, calculate credit usage, take payments, answer support requests, and investigate misuse. Where applicable, our legal bases include providing the service under our agreement with you, legitimate interests in security and running the service, meeting legal obligations, and consent for uses that require it. Customers decide their own purposes for using returned data and are responsible for those uses.
Storage and security
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Applicable privacy protections can differ by location. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your information. We use HTTPS, password hashing, encrypted API-key storage, and access restrictions. No system can eliminate every security risk.
How long we keep information
Account, request, billing, and support records are kept while needed to provide the service, investigate problems, resolve disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Deleting an account may not immediately remove records that we need to retain for those purposes or copies in rotating backups. We assess deletion requests against the information involved and applicable requirements.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can update your name and password in Settings, reset API keys, and manage plans in Billing. You can also contact support@mart.dev to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy of personal information, or to object to processing. Available rights and exceptions depend on the law that applies. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it for future processing. You may also complain to your relevant data-protection authority.
If a professional record concerns you, include the relevant public profile URL and describe your request. We may need information to verify your identity. Do not send passwords, API keys, or identity documents unless we specifically ask through an appropriate channel.
